Gallery of Diamonds, established in 1991 in Costa Mesa, Calif., has moved to Plaza Newport Shopping Center in Newport Beach, Calif.

The store also held its 15th annual Why Mom Deserves a Diamond contest. Gallery of Diamonds awarded two students each a 0.25 ct. brilliant-cut diamond with a retail value of $500 for best expressing why their mother deserves a diamond.

Gallery of Diamonds specializes in diamonds and fine jewelry, offers rare vintage pieces, and also designs jewelry.
