Fifth Avenue Windows Fascinate

As visitors flock to New York City in December, they’ll surely appreciate the creative window displays of certain Fifth Avenue jewelers. Here’s a list of noteworthy windows spotted by JCKStyle:

• Cartier: An enormous red bow hugs the building and giant gift boxes cling to the sides. Window displays mimic the gift theme, with some jewels.

• Fortunoff's: One window features a huge turkey centerpiece fashioned out of flatware. The bird is the work of Jorge Gutara, who calls the metal-feathered Frankenstein Jorge.

• Asprey: A kaleidoscope motif delights onlookers. Multicolored, holiday-themed backdrops in every window help highlight a variety of resplendent merchandise—glassware, jewelry, and more.

• Harry Winston: Here, elegance is the idea. Long garlands of twigs, fir branches, and pine cones frame window exteriors. Inside, white geese perch above a lone jewel in a glass-domed platter.

• Tiffany & Co.: Displays are nostalgic—and plaid. Trains and teddy bears are some of the antiquities sharing space with merchandise in tartan-bedecked environs.

• Bergdorf Goodman: Music and literature serve as inspiration for these fanciful displays: One tells the tale of a female Gulliver in band camp—a dummy drum majorette aims to play, while a dozen vintage Barbies perform backup.

At the debut of Paris Hilton Limited Edition Watches on Nov. 30, the hotel heiress confided to press and fans that the experience of designing her own timepiece was "hot." "I just love watches," she added. She also explained her motivation for making the $100,000 model with five time zones: "It [relates to] two of my favorite things—travel and diamonds."
