Zalemark Launches Collections in Vietnam

Vietnamese jewelry manufacturer, Phunhuan Jewelry Joinstock Company (PNJ) has agreed to distribute two divisions of Zalemark Inc., Demeter and Seventeen Jewelry Collection, in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.

As part of the agreement, PNJ will host a boutique manufacturing facility inside its own factory to manufacture Zalemark products; some of the SKU’s will be re-designed to coincide with the Vietnamese culture.

On Oct. 26, Steven Zale, design director of Zalemark, was feted at a launch party in Saigon, Vietnam. Miss Vietnam, Miss World, national, and national political figures were among those who helped unveil Zale’s collections and celebrate the new partnership.

The event came on the heels of the first diplomatic visit to the U.S. by a Vietnamese head of state since 1973 and after the 109th Congress approved legislation extending permanent normal trade relations with Vietnam last December.

Zalemark, Inc. is a Sherman Oaks-based manufacturer of fine jewelry.
