The Women’s Jewelry Association Los Angeles Chapter will hold its annual holiday party Dec. 3 at Typhoon, L.A.’s premier Pan-Asian restaurant, located on the south side of Santa Monica Airport.

This year’s event will include passed hors d’oeuvres at 6 p.m.; a buffet-style dinner at 7 p.m.; and complimentary well drinks, wine, beer, and soft drinks all evening. WJA-LA is underwriting a significant portion of the total cost of this year’s party.

Typhoon is located at 3221 Donald Douglas Loop South in Santa Monica.

“We are currently soliciting donations—prizes for the opportunity drawing to benefit the WJA Scholarship Fund,” said WJA-LA event chair Lisa Schoening. “Our members and their friends were extremely generous last year in providing jewelry, services and other nice gifts, and consequently, our chapter raised $900 for this worthy cause.”

All guests are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toiletries for the women at Sojourn. Established in 1977, Sojourn provides battered women and their children a safe space to regroup, rebuild, and reestablish their self-esteem and lives.
