Wisconsin Jeweler Arrested on Two Felony Theft Charges

An Ashwaubenon, Wis., jewelry store
owner was arrested July 13 in Rothschild, Wis., in connection with allegedly
defrauding customers
.

Tyler Kosmoski, owner of the Diamond Factory, was charged
with two felonies for theft involving false representation of property and theft of
movable property less than $10,000.

Kosmoski was arrested around 9:45 p.m. on July 13 after
Rothschild police spent several hours searching the local and business area.
According to a Rothschild Police Department press release, police apprehended
Kosmoski at a local hotel and transported him to the Marathon County Jail.

According to Ashwaubenon Department of Public Safety,
customers complained jewelry was not returned after they took it to the Diamond
Factory for repairs. In addition, customers who sold items to the store were
paid with bad checks, and customers complained they put money down on jewelry
to be purchased and have not yet received the product.

Police are continuing to work with victims and
other law enforcement agencies on the investigation.

Online records show from the Wisconsin Department of Revenue
indicate tax warrants against Kosmoski for more than $200,000 in income, fees,
and sales taxes.
