What’s Selling in Stores: Pendants

We asked four retailers located in four corners of the country to share their top-selling pendants this week.

EAST

Jewells Fine Jewelry, Roanoke, Va. Heather Moore custom gold necklaces with charm pendants, starting at $250. “We get custom orders every day for these,” says owner Katharine Wells.

NORTH

Springer’s, Bath, Maine. Alex Sepkus round 18k yellow gold pendant with diamonds, $5,225. “The Alex Sepkus look is very distinctive and his pieces are great quality,” says sales manager Jeff Guenther. “The reaction is usually they either love it or it’s too eccentric for them.”

SOUTH

Quenan Jewelry, Georgetown, Texas. Cordova 18k white gold pendant set with diamonds, $800-$1,000. “In our area, the style is still white metals,” notes owner Steve Quenan.

CENTRAL

Marshall Jewelry, Gillette, Wyo. Kathy Ireland Jewelry by Elan 18k white gold diamond martini pendant, $995. “I think it’s not an identifiable style and people like individuality,” says co-owner Mary Ann Marshall. “Plus, it goes with everything.”
