We’ll Drink to That! A Toast to Day 1 of JCK Las Vegas 2013

Cheers to gold and silver manufacturer Royal Chain Group, which celebrated its 35th anniversary with a brand-new show booth and a champagne toast and ribbon-cutting ceremony May 31. “We are very excited about the 35th anniversary,” said Royal Chain designer and creative director Phillip Gabriel Maroof. “It is an important milestone in today’s day and age.” To commemorate the occasion, the company created a fragrance (Fleur de Lis), gifted to each customer, as well as a new 500-page catalog—the biggest in Royal Chain’s history. “The industry has changed so much in the past 35 years,” Maroof said. “There is so much more room for creativity, which makes my job exciting.”…

Retailers were treated to fancy drinks, upbeat music, and trendy appetizers at the Prestige  Promenade pavilion May 31. “We are really excited to celebrate the opening of JCK,” said Steven Mazza, president of Prestige Promenade. The 400 retailers in attendance didn’t just have a thirst for the open bar—they were also hungry to fill their shelves. “It was a strong first day,” Mazza added. “Everybody seems ready to refill their inventory and this year people are looking for higher-end items again.”
