Virginia Halevi joins Jewelry.com as editor-in-chief

Jewelry.com has named Virginia Halevi as its editor-in-chief. In her new role, she will be responsible for all editorial content, as well as enhancing consumer relations and developing new traffic-building initiatives for the site.

Halevi was one of the original architects of IDEX, which was launched in 2002. Under her leadership as editor-in-chief, the magazine grew to become one of the foremost publications in the industry.
 
Founded in 2001 as a one-stop jewelry resource for consumers, Jewelry.com’s marketing platform connects jewelry consumers with national, multi-channel jewelry retailers, which include Helzberg, JC Penney, Macy’s, Sears and Zales, representing 4,500 individual storefronts with combined annual jewelry sales of $6 billion. Jewelry.com receives more than 2.5 million visitors per month, more thanr 32 million unique visitors annually and has a database of 2.2 million registered users.
