Two days of education at Columbus Jewelry Show

An attractive educational program is being offered as part the Columbus Jewelry Show, Aug. 19-20 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. In addition, Stuller, Inc., will host a floor bench seminar and demonstration during the event in Ohio’s capital city.

All seminars and classes are at no cost to retail jewelers and are designed by the Ohio Jewelers Association to provide the highest standard of education, information, and guidance to Ohio and Midwestern jewelers.

Seminars are as follows:

Saturday, Aug. 19

9 – 11 a.m. Five Reasons for Financial Distress in a Jewelry Store, presented by David Geller, JewelersProfit, Inc.

9 – 11 a.m. Utilizing Special Events to Drive Sales presented by Shellie Bill of Premier Consulting.

9 – 11 a.m. GIA Diamond Cut Grading System, presented by the GIA staff.

9 – 11 a.m. Buy it Right—Price it Right, presented by David Peters, director of education for Jewelers of America, Inc.

10 – 11 a.m. Technology for your store, presented by Joe Shapiro, co-founder and vice president of R&D at Abbott Jewelry Systems, LLC.
 
Sunday, Aug. 20

8 – 10 a.m. Marketing Gems … How to Get More Customers Who Will Pay You More Often, presented by Jim Ackerman, Ascend Marketing, Inc.

The Columbus Jewelry Show, sponsored by the Ohio Jewelers Association, is celebrating its 63rd year.
