Virtual Diamond Boutique Reaches More Than 3,500 Users

After the enthusiastic response to its product at both June’s JCK Las Vegas show and August’s India International Jewellery Show, Virtual Diamond Boutique (Vdb) has reached a milestone of more than 3,500 registered users. Composed of both retailers and diamond wholesalers, those registered are now using the Vdb app to source, match, and list diamonds on the B2B platform.

“Retailers and wholesalers are beginning to understand the potential of this new network, and the buzz has been truly amazing,” said CEO and founding partner Tanya Nisguretsky in a press release. “As the title sponsor of JCK Rocks the Beach at the recent JCK Las Vegas show, we were thrilled to achieve fabulous results from the U.S. jewelry industry. Then, as the title sponsor of IIJS 2016 seminars, we exceeded all expectations and almost doubled our success to date.”

The Vdb app groups stones into collections and offers users an interactive experience with customized views and saved searches. The software also works to sort through qualifications and certificates of hundreds of diamonds, making finding a matching pair much simpler for users.

The app is free for retailers and offers visual imagery for unbranded merchandise in HD photos and videography. Retailers have the opportunity to virtually enhance their own inventory with what’s available from their preferred partners or from the entire network of vendors. Diamond wholesalers can list their inventories on the network for a minimal fee.
