New York City-based jeweler Dabakarov has announced the creation of an innovative gold alloy that’s been years in the making. Environmentally friendly and ensured for lasting luster, the AU79 alloy sets a new standard for the fine jewelry line.

“Our goal was to develop a gold alloy that had a softer hue yet still maintains a beautiful shine,” says David Dabakarov. “A gold that looks beautiful against the skin and enhances our diamonds and gemstones.”

Travelers at Dubai International Airport were in for an unexpected treat last week thanks to singer and TW Steel global ambassador Kelly Rowland. The Grammy Award winner teamed up with the Dutch watchmaker to surprise passers-by with a pop-up concert featuring fellow ambassador DJ Mitchell Niemeyer. 

“Dubai International and Dubai Duty Free offer outstanding experiences and they’re always looking to enhance consumer engagement,” Jordy Cobelens, CEO and owner of TW Steel said in a statement.

“We share those values, and together, we’ve executed an engaging event for travelers visiting the airport,” Cobelens said.

Before the performance, Rowland promoted her two Special Edition CEO Tech timepieces, CE4006 and CE4007, at the Hour Choice store owned by TW Steel’s regional partner, the Rivoli Group.

Resin jewelry line Andrew Hamilton Crawford recently launched its new and improved company website. Upgraded to a minimalist layout for a more user-friendly experience, the site features vibrant graphics of the line’s elegant pieces for customers to peruse.

“We wanted the color aspect of our line to pop right off the page, so a fresh and clean layout was vital,” designer Chad Crawford says.

To create a complete shopping experience, the site also features a slider tool to help customers complement their pieces and build a collection.

 MaeVona Its Launches Mobile Website 

MaeVona mobile websiteLuxury jewelry brand MaeVona has introduced a mobile website to cater to its on-the-go audience.

Clean and condensed, the site is used entirely for quick and easy mobile browsing. MaeVona’s mobile page steps customer searches up a notch by including an IP tracker for its “Find a Retailer” feature.

Smartphone users also can use the mobile site’s “Search by Story” function if they’re curious about the Celtic inspiration behind every design.
