The Edge and the Edge Retail Academy Set to Hold Software Seminar

The latest seminar for jewelry retail users of Edge software hosted by mentoring agency the Edge Retail Academy will take place from February 27 to March 1.

Throughout the three-day conference, jewelry industry experts will share tips on how to utilize Edge software to boost profit margins, improve inventory management, and much more.

“Our experts will show attendees how to reduce discounting, develop more loyal customers who buy more frequently, motivate sales staff and minimize the accumulation of nonperforming inventory,” said Dick Abbott of Abbott & Shapiro, the producers of Edge software. “Jewelers who have attended our most recent seminars have experienced an average increase of 29 percent in gross profits. So, obviously, participation more than pays for itself.”

At $495, the exclusive informational sessions will feature lunch, dinner, and daily refreshments. Local lodging is also available at seven area facilities.

Aspire Designs Marks 15th Anniversary With Release of Limited-Edition Collection

Aspire Designs will kick off its 15th anniversary celebration by introducing a series of limited-edition jewelry collections. Its couture brands MVee, Vida, and Esme will design a series of 15 sets and pieces of jewelry to coincide with the company’s anniversary.

According to a press release, MVee’s collection has an international appeal and features exotic flowers formed from stunning gemstones, pearls, rose and white gold, and diamonds. Vida’s assortment will showcase trendy jewels encased in precious materials at competitive prices to represent the splendor of life. Finally, the designs for Esme’s pieces draw inspiration from the double helix of DNA.

All three collections, as well as new brand Sawel, will launch at the Baselworld watch and jewelry show in late March.
