Summer Jewelry Obsession: Ti Sento Milano

Ti Sento Milano SS2013 ad

When I think summer jewelry, I tend to gravitate toward bright colors: turquoise and coral, punchy pinks and yellows. Ti Sento Milano’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection has got that and more in spades. The European fashion jewelry brand based in Amsterdam is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the Portofino Collection. Inspired by the surroundings and Mediterranean climate of Portofino, Italy, its pieces feature oceanic hues and bright pinks, peaches, and yellows, decorated with touches of yellow and rose gold.

I adore the line, not only for its colorful design and gorgeous aesthetic, but for its affordability and ease of wear—the ability to mix and match or just pile everything on at once. The Portofino Collection pieces (particularly the earrings pictured below) would be fabulous travelling companions on my summer trip to Italy, no?

To keep the obsession going well into the fall, here’s a sneak peek at the Autumn/Winter 2013 collection, available in August:

Ti Sento Milano La Bella Vita collection

Dubbed “La Bella Vita,” the collection comprises designs inspired by the open lines of Florence, Italy’s buildings and bridges. You’ll find an array of sterling silver pieces detailed with ruthenium and featuring pyramid-shape stones with a black, chocolate, and bordeaux color scheme. The pieces, an ode to the city’s Renaissance period, are accented with yellow and rose gold plating.
