Royal Asscher partnered with the Seven Bar Foundation for
the MTV produced ‘Lingerie New York 2010,’ which was held on October 21st at
Cipriani’s 42nd Street.

Royal Asscher ‘s “Stars of Africa” collection, designed by designer
Reena Ahluwalia, will highlight the runway.  Items from Royal Asscher’s collections will also be
showcased in Cipriani’s “Champagne Lounge”.

For each piece sold at the event and over the next six
months 50 percent of the profits will go to the Seven Bar Foundation through an
online collaboration on Royal Asscher’s website.

The Seven Bar Foundation is an organization that lends
ladders to underprivileged women via micro-finance. For each ‘”Stars of Africa
by Royal Asscher” sold at least three women will get microfinance loans.
