Rolex Rated as World’s Most Reputable Company

This is the second year in a row the watch brand has topped the reputation survey

For the second year in a row, Rolex topped an annual ranking of companies with the best reputations in the world.

The Global RepTrak 100 ranking, according to the Reputation Institute, which produces the list, is the largest corporate reputation study of its kind, with 170,000 ratings.

Rolex was the only jewelry or watch brand listed on the ranking. It scored well for “offering high-quality products and services,” “stand[ing] behind its products and services,” and “meet[ing] customer needs.” It also scored well for being a “profitable company,” even though it is privately owned and does not report financials.

In 2016, the watch brand topped the list, though in 2015 it only ranked fourth.

Other retail brands on the list include Amazon (No. 18) and eBay (No. 83). Also on the list were fashion brands Giorgio Armani (No. 28), Hugo Boss (No. 43), and Ralph Lauren Corporation (No. 45).

Lego Group ranked second; Walt Disney Company, third; Canon, fourth; and Google, fifth.
