Ritani Makes “Most Promising Companies” List

Forbes named clicks-and-bricks jeweler Ritani to its list of America’s Most Promising Companies.

Ritani listed $13 million in revenue and 45 employees as of January 2014 and was ranked 40th on the list.

It appears to be the only jewelry-related company on the list, though Wedding Wire, an online bridal marketplace, came in at No. 27.

The list tallies “high-growth, privately held companies with under $250 million in annual revenue,” Forbes said, adding they were ranked based on “growth (both in sales and hiring), quality of management team and investors, margins, market size, and key partnerships.”

“We’re confident that many of these are the IPOs and billion-dollar acquisitions of tomorrow,” Forbes added.

Howard Lutnick, chairman and CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald, one of its backers, explained how the Ritani model works to JCK in June 2013.
