Rina Limor Introduces Three New Collections

Designer Rina Limor is introducing new jewelry, which can be previewed on the show floor at JCK Las Vegas 2012. The new additions include the Sapphire Fantasy Collection, an expansion of the Moonlight Treasures line, and a handmade collection of diamond bands.

The Sapphire Fantasy Collection features multicolored sapphire slices and 18k gold with accents of diamonds and colored gemstones. Retailers will find earrings, pendants, bracelets, and necklaces. “The beauty of these slice sapphires has a natural appeal in itself that inspired me to create one-of-a-kind, cool gems that are both rough and refined, imperfect and yet polished,” says Limor. 

In response to overwhelming customer demand, the popular Moonlight Treasures collection will get an update. The new 18k gold and silver designs, including dramatic cuff bracelets, earrings, and pendants, are set with moonstones and contrasting gemstones like turquoise, spinel, and black diamonds.

New to the already best-selling Rina Limor bridal line are handmade diamond bands made with platinum or 18k gold and a variety of diamond shapes. The diamonds are cut in Israel and are available with GIA certificates and laser-engraved cert numbers.

TanzaniteOne Mining Hosts Guests of the Arusha International Gem Fair

A few lucky members of the industry paid a visit to the TanzaniteOne Mining operation in Merelani, Tanzania, to see firsthand how tanzanite is mined at one of the world’s most sophisticated colored gemstone operations. The guests—including Doug Hucker, CEO of the American Gem Trade Association; Robert Weldon of GIA; and Steve Bennett of GemsTV—attended the Arusha International Gem, Jewelry, and Minerals Fair.

As guests of TanzaniteOne Mining Ltd. and the Tanzanite Foundation, the international delegation visited the underground operation, plant, and sorthouse, as well as the Tanzanite Foundation Community Projects. “We were delighted to have an opportunity to visit the TanzaniteOne operation while attending the Arusha International Gem, Jewelry, and Minerals Fair. Our trip into the mine was an experience that helped us appreciate what it takes to coax these magnificent treasures from the earth. I was especially gratified to see the work that was being done in local communities to improve the living conditions of Tanzanian children,” said Hucker.

The Kingswood Company Launches New Products
