Rapaport Conference to Be Streamed on the Internet

The Rapaport International Diamond Conference (IDC) will be
broadcast live on the Internet at www.rapaport.com/idc.

Viewing will be free of charge and available via the
Rapaport website Thursday, Oct. 21 from 9 am to 5 pm.

The IDC morning session will focus on “Diamond Demand” and
feature presentations from “the Queen of Luxury” Carol Brodie, CEO of Carol
Brodie and Co., and Roy Williams, founder of the Wizard Academy Institute,
among other speakers.

The afternoon session, “Human Rights and the Diamond
Industry – The Way Forward,” will discuss and debate the most vital and
pressing ethical issues facing the diamond trade today. Presenters will include
Peter Singer, internationally renowned ethicist, and Michael Conroy, Chairman
of the Board of Fair Trade USA and author of “Branded! – How the Certification
Revolution is Transforming Global Corporations.”

IDC 2010 will be held at the Times Center in New York, where
last minute registration will be available. For those unable to attend, the conference
can be viewed live online through a streaming broadcast at
www.rapaport.com/idc. Online participants will also be able to play an active
role by sending in questions to conference panelists and speakers in real time
to conference@diamonds.net.
