Pyrrha Debuts 14k Gold Collection

On Friday, Canadian jeweler Pyrrha will introduce a new 14k gold collection inspired by antique wax seals and the gothic aesthetic of the Victorian era. Designers Danielle and Wade Papin, who have been handcrafting jewelry using reclaimed precious metals in their Vancouver studio for more than 20 years, have created a collection centered upon the color black that evokes the mood of the 19th century.

Pieces include symbolic talismans (representing sentiments like love, empowerment, and protection), collar necklaces, crawler earrings, Latin band rings, and bangles and bracelets. Some styles are accented by sapphires and rubies. “We created the new gold collection to appeal to the customer who is looking for something very distinctive, that challenges the norm,” said Wade. “They want jewelry that stands out. Something with significance that inspires and tells a story.” The new 14k gold collection—with items starting at $152—will be available on the Pyrrha website on Friday, June 16.
