Petra Diamonds Expects Production Increase

The company announced that it expects 2017 production to rise 24.3 percent

Petra Diamonds reports that it has increased its 2017 production estimates.

The company says that its 2017 production is expected to rise 24.3 percent. Petra forecasts it will reach 4.4 million–4.6 million cts. in fiscal year 2017, which ends June 30, 2017. Production was 2.7 million cts. for the 2016 fiscal year.

Petra also estimates that the company will produce 5 million cts. in 2018, a year earlier than it originally predicted.
