The Oris Watch Factory, Holstein, Switzerland, on Thursday signed a commercial agreement to become an Official Supplier and the Watch Partner to the BMW WilliamsF1 Team. Several events featuring the BMW WilliamsF1 Team are being planned for Formula One races as well as the Basel Watch and Jewellery Fair.

Formula One, where one hundredth of a second can make the difference between winning and losing, provides the ideal technological context to promote the qualities of Oris’s timepieces, the company said in a statement.
