Edi Faltz replaces Joseph Kuzi, who is stepping down after two years

Edi Faltz (pictured) has been named executive vice president at World Jewelry & Diamond Hub, Panama, Latin America’s first diamond exchange.

Faltz, who also is the chairman of the membership and banking committees, replaces Joseph Kuzi, who is stepping down after two years in the position. He is the owner and CEO of Diamond Buying Office and the Faltz Diamond & Jewelry Group.

“We are indeed fortunate to have a person with Edi’s wealth of knowledge and experience join our senior management team,” said Mahesh Khemlani, president of the World Jewelry & Diamond Hub, Panama. “Not only are we gaining an individual with an intimate understanding of the worlds of diamonds, jewelry, and finance, but also one that has been committed to the establishment of the World Jewelry Hub in Panama, investing time, effort, and personal capital in its development.”

Khemlani also praised Kuzi for his service. “Joseph Kuzi made an immense contribution, helping put together the basic elements of a diamond exchange and a trading center in a region where none had before existed,” he said. “He helped transform a vision into reality, and for that we are all beneficiaries. We wish him the very best of luck and good fortune.”
