Neiman Marcus Releases Christmas Book

The famed Neiman Marcus Christmas Book is out, and it
includes a one-of-a-kind precious jewelry charm bracelet as one of this year’s
fantasy gifts. The bracelet is Neiman’s way of celebrating the 50th anniversary
of the Christmas Book’s His and Hers fantasy gift selections.

Each charm represents a His and Hers gift from the past,
including an airplane, a Chinese junk, a hot air balloon, a camel, a
sarcophagus, a buffalo calf, a windmill, an ostrich, a Shar-Pei puppy, a robot,
and a vintage motorcycle.

The His and Hers gift debuted in 1960 with matching
Beechcraft airplanes that cost $176,000. This year’s His and Hers gift is a
MetroShip houseboat.

First published in 1926 as a 16-page booklet, the Neiman
Marcus Christmas Book was initially intended as a Christmas card to the store’s
best customers. It has evolved over the years to become famous for its
luxurious gifts and unusual, super-expensive items.

This year’s featured charity is Big Brothers Big Sisters.
