Martin Flyer’s New Colored Titanium and Diamond Bangle Bracelets

Diamond-studded bangle bracelets are a must-have in the wardrobes of many fashion-loving women, but with the price of gold so high, buying them nowadays can be a costly affair. Enter the new titanium and diamond bangles from diamond jeweler, Martin Flyer, based in New York City. Company CEO, Josh Kaufman, debuted the styles at JCK Las Vegas, and makes three different styles—61 mm, 63 mm, and 65 mm—available in 10 permanent e-coating colors: black, brown, yellow, green, blue, purple, hot pink red, pink, and silver. Pieces each have 1.01 cts. t.w. H-I I1 or H-I SI2/-SI3 diamonds that are machine-set for a “clean, fun, easy-to-wear look,” explained Kaufman to JCK this morning in a phone interview. “The same bangle in 18k gold would cost a minimum of $3,000,” he added. Meanwhile, to build up a desirable stackable look of multiple pieces, the company also offers non-diamond colored titanium bangles or spacers to mix in with the diamond versions.

Each diamond bangle retails for $1,875, and each spacer for $175. Of the 25 orders placed the bracelets in Las Vegas, four re-orders have been placed. A minimum buy-in includes 10 diamond bracelets and 20 spacers.

“People are not plunking down $20,000 on fashion items todays,” said Kaufman. “Our job as a manufacturer is to come up with fun ideas like this.”
