LUXURY Privé Show Debuts in New York City

More than 150 top retailers attended the first day of the LUXURY Privé show in New York on July 25, show producer JCK Events announced in a statement.

The high-end show drew jewelers from Barbados, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Trinidad & Tobago, Oklahoma, California, and Missouri. Several of the exhibiting brands made their U.S. debut, including American Estate-Galmer Fine Jewelry, Poiray, and Theo Fennell.

The show’s inaugural edition was sponsored by the American Gem Society, Chippenhook, Gemological Institute of America (GIA), Harmon Group, JCK Magazine, Jewelers Mutual Insurance Co., Martha Stewart Weddings, and The Gordon Company. The show coincides with the Women’s Jewelry Association’s “WJA Awards for Excellence” dinner held on July 25 and the American Gem Society’s prestigious “Circle of Distinction” dinner event on July 26.

“We are very enthusiastic with the positive response we’ve received from both suppliers and retailers for our new launch,” Yancy Weinrich, industry vice president, JCK Events, said in a statement. “There is a real need for retailers to have mid- to late summer buying opportunities as they ready their inventories for the holiday season.”
