The Jewelers For Veterans Foundation (J4V) has created an online tool, the J4V Jobs Board, to help military veterans find employment in the jewelry industry. But the nonprofit group is in need of more job listings.

“We are asking you to reach out to your constituents and to ask them to list any job openings they might currently have or might anticipate having in the near term,” J4V chairman Ralph Destino said in an email. “We are trying to spread the word both to potential employers and to veterans looking for work.”

To list a job on the board, go to the J4V website and sign up as an employer: http://jewelersforveterans.org/jobs/

The organization hopes people will help spread the word about the online tool. “Tell your community about this noble program and your support of it,” Destino said. “Send an alert to your email list, promote the initiative through your social networks using the hashtag #J4V and through your local communication outlets. You can also link to the J4V website via your own blog or site.”

“The goal is to have the largest database of jewelry-related jobs on the Internet for the benefit of our returning veterans,” Destino added.
