JCOC.tv Starts Video Contest for Teens

JCOC.tv, the news-based jewelry consumer TV channel has begun a contest for teens throughout North America called the Blingz-4-Reel Contest. It is geared toward those ages 14 to19, who are interested in video production. To enter the contest a teen must produce a 2 to 4 minute video on the importance of ‘Bling,’ as it specifically relates to jewelry, in their community.

Video criteria will be a news-style interview of up to three individuals on the real life importance of Bling. Judging will be based on creativity, content, and quality of video production/editing, as well as the ratings received by viewers of www.JCOC.tv. Submission dates run through Oct. 31, noon EST. Video ratings will be conducted from Nov. 1 through Nov. 10. All viewers of the JCOC.tv channel are welcome to rate their favorite video.

“This is a new and exciting way for teens to produce a video on a fun but sometimes controversial topic,” said Liz Chatelain, President, JCOC.tv, “Bling is a major part of our society, and teens are tuned in to this topic. This contest will give them the opportunity to showcase their talent with a topic they are interested in and win jewelry.”

Grand, first and second place prizes will be awarded. JCOC.tv welcomes all teens and those adults that promote or teach video/film production to log on to www.JCOC.tv for more details and contest rules for this major nationwide opportunity.
