IDMA to Hold 2011 Presidents’ Meeting in Botswana

The International Diamond Manufacturers Association announced
Nov. 4 its 2011 Presidents’ Meeting will be held in Gaborone, Botswana, April
4-7.

IDMA President Moti Ganz said in a statement that the
organization had chosen to gather its members’ presidents for its biennial
Presidents’ Meeting to acknowledge the rising role of diamond manufacturing in
diamond producing countries, in particular in Africa, and to remain informed
about the ensuing developments for diamond manufacturers in the traditional
production centers.

Jacob Thamage, coordinator of the Botswana Diamond Hub, said
in a statement that the Botswana government looked forward to hosting the IDMA
members’ presidents in his country.
