Zhengfa Liu, the new International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA) Ambassador to China, has announced the appointment of four staff members to advance the organization’s interests in China:

Office Director: Ji Li (liji@gemstone.org.cn)
Administration: Jianhua Zhou (jzhou@gemstone.org.cn)
Business Promotion: Rong Li (lirong@gemstone.org.cn)
Membership: Jianjun Ren (jren@gemstone.org.cn)

The office, located in Beijing, was formally established in August.

In a message to ICA headquarters, Liu said that his office staff has begun a comprehensive market research project, collecting consumer and product information on colored gemstone sales in China. The results will be presented at the upcoming ICA Congress in Bangkok, Thailand, in Feb., 2005.
