Haack Jewelers Receives Ethics Award

Donald Haack Diamonds & Fine Gems, Charlotte, N.C., received the 2007 American Business Ethics Award from the Foundation for Financial Services Professionals in the Small Company Category.

Julie Haack Kral, president of the Charlotte-based jeweler, accepted the award at a dinner held by the Society of Financial Service Professionals in Montreal, Canada.

“Receiving this accolade is a tremendous honor and is a testament to our entire team’s dedication to serving our customers in the very highest ethical manner and to ensuring the continued integrity of the jewelry industry,” said Haack Kral.

“This year’s honorees demonstrated a variety of creative approaches to making this philosophy an integral part of their organizational culture,” said foundation chairman Ward Anderson.

Established in 1994, the American Business Ethics Award recognizes companies that exemplify high standards of ethical behavior in their everyday business conduct and in response to specific crises or challenges.

The Foundation for Financial Service Professionals is a charitable organization created to foster research, education and ethical practices amongst financial service professionals to benefit the public.The Society of Financial Service Professionals established the Foundation in 1982.
