GIA Lab Offers Priority Service during JA Show

The Gemological Institute of America’s New York Laboratory will offer “priority laboratory services” to Jewelers of America New York Summer show attendees before, during, and after the run of the trade show from July 29 to Aug. 1, in New York.

Show attendees can drop off stones at the nearby GIA New York Laboratory’s take-in windows and get their material back before the close of the show. For example, if a stone gets submitted to the GIA New York Laboratory on Thursday, it will be available for pickup by Tuesday night.

The New York lab will offer extended drop-off and pick-up hours on Thursday, July 26 (8:00 a.m. till 6:30 p.m.). On Friday, the lab will be open for its regular hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Then the lab will be open for extended hours on Monday and Tuesday (8 a.m. till 6:30 p.m.).

If work gets submitted Monday or Tuesday, it will still be afforded priority service and will be shipped back to their owners by their preferred shipping method.

The Jewelers of America Show is being held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
