Friday 5: The Most Coveted Gemstones of 2014

Other than the always-present and beloved diamond, what would you say was the most popular gemstone of 2014? Without hesitation, I would have said tourmaline. It made memorable appearances in many sensational designs this year (hello, Paraiba!) and continues to stun. And while that may be true, JCK Marketplace visitors are telling me different. I dug into a year of data to see what 2014 looked like in review, and, surprisingly, my tourmaline is not in the top 5.
