Jewelry designer Eddie Borgo has named Jessica Kates its first-ever CEO, according to a report in Women’s Wear Daily. (Subscription required.)
Borgo told WWD he will now take the title of creative director and chairman.
While the company did not respond to a request for comment, Kates has listed the title on her LinkedIn page. She previously served as the company’s chief financial officer and chief operating officer.
A Harvard Business School graduate, Kates joined Borgo in 2012, after a stint as CFO at online retailer Folica.com.
