Cultured Pearl Association to Spotlight Designers in Documentary

The Cultured Pearl Association of America is planning a documentary where designers take a piece of pearl jewelry from concept to creation.

The film is meant to “give the audience another in-depth look at how the pearl’s journey evolves to the jewelers showcase.”

Final jewelry items will then be entered into the CPAA’s Second International Design Competition, with winners announced this fall.

The chosen designers are Paula Crevoshay of Albuquerque, N.M.; Zoltan David of Bee Cave, Texas; Joel Greene of East Providence, R.I.; Evelyn Huang of Los Angeles, Calif.; Dilly Kirby of Harbor Springs, Mich.; Adam Neeley of Laguna Beach, Calif.; Brenda Smith of Woodstock, Ga.; Llyn Strelau of Calgary, Canada; and Jerry Tanaka of Honolulu, Hawaii.
