Craiger Drake Designs Opens Showroom in PA

Craiger Drake Designs recently opened its Walnut Street showroom in Philadelphia.

Located in Rittenhouse Square, Drake’s stylish, showroom is complete with a cozy sitting area ideal for one-on-one consultation with Drake.

For the opening, Drake has designed several new pieces, including a 20 ct. purple tourmaline set in a platinum diamond and sapphire-encrusted mounting.

The showroom will also include affordable jewelry like a Mali wedding bead necklace, which features bold-colored African trade beads in a variety of designs. Craiger Drake Designs will also be the exclusive Philadelphia distributor of Poor Cat Designs, affordable designs of 18k yellow, white, and rose gold as well as platinum and sterling silver.

However, many industry-goers and consumers alike may associate the Drake name with Craig Sr., who’s suffered a string of difficulties, including allegations of fraud, according to local news reports. One year ago, Craig Sr. told industry that he was retiring, but resurfaced again in the August 2010 issue of Philadelphia magazine in “All That Glittered,” an article about his rise and fall in the jewelry world.

The shop will be located at 1616 Walnut Street.
