Celebrity Jeweler Designs World’s Most Expensive Sports Prize

Jason Arasheben, owner of Jason of Beverly Hills, has designed the championship bracelet for the World Series of Poker tournament, held in Las Vegas throughout July.

Weighing more than 160 grams, the bracelet is made of 14k white gold and 35 cts. t.w. flawless diamonds, making it the most expensive jewelry prize across all major sports. To symbolize the event, rubies and black diamonds are used to illustrate the four suits in a deck of cards.

“We wanted the bracelet to embody the sport of poker, outshine every other sports prize, and feature a unique design that did not look like past bracelets,” Arasheben, who previously designed rings for the 2009 and 2010 NBA Championships, says.

Arasheben’s company used CAD technology and spent four months designing the piece. The bracelet is currently on display at Jason of Beverly Hills boutique at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas.

Although the monetary value of the bracelet is not revealed, it is estimated to be in the six-figure range. “Since the bracelet is a championship award, it’s priceless,” Arasheben says. “It’s something that you can’t buy, but you have to win.”
