Independent Swiss watch maker Carl. F. Bucherer is the “Official Partner of Daylight Saving Time,” and as such, the company has created a downloadable screensaver that will automatically synch with a personal computer to ensure that the change from Daylight Saving Time to Standard Time will not be a nuisance on Sunday, Nov. 4.

The screensaver also highlights the company’s signature timepiece, the Patravi TravelTec GMT, Carl F. The details of the screensaver include all of the timepiece’s complications: triple time zone, chronograph, and GMT—all functional and settable with the click of a mouse.

“We wanted to remind people that this time change was coming, but do it in an unconventional way so that people would enjoy the experience,” said Ron Stoll, president, Carl F. Bucherer North America, based in Dayton, Ohio. “Studies have indicated that one of the largest losses of business productivity comes on the Monday after Daylight Saving Time. We wanted to do something that would help improve this downward trend.”
