I spotted this sweet pendant from S&R Designs on the LUXURY show floor in Vegas, and haven’t stopped thinking about it since. The blackened sterling and 18k Vino Bottle, as it has been dubbed, is covered in 35 carats of white topaz and accented at the bail with 0.10 ct. t.w. diamonds. The playful shape is a welcome enough sight (I can’t resist most things having to do with wine), but there’s a romantic twist to the piece, too. The top screws open, revealing a true message in a bottle: an engravable sliver of metal, sweetly bearing the custom message of the purchaser’s choice. The pendant looks great strung on an opera-length chain; a fashion statement with sentiment, that can be the wearer’s best kept secret.
