I love when a great opal gets all dolled up. Here, Pamela Froman knew just how to dress the gem: with swirls and diamonds and rich, matte gold. I love that the band of this ring—in an Arabesque style from which the piece draws its name—has texture, lending it a sincere, artisan vibe. The designer allowed the ring’s border of diamonds to follow a slightly organic, free-form pattern that mirrors the center stone—an impressively colorful 10.62 ct. Australian boulder opal. I want to wear this ring every day (maybe even as an engagement ring—it’s so romantic!), for every occasion, with every possible ensemble. It just doesn’t get better than this.
