Britt’s Pick: Julie Lamb’s NYC Make It There Pendant

This time of year, without fail, my thoughts drift to New York. There’s nothing in the world like a New York autumn. Its cool, crisp air, the changing leaves, the outdoor farmer’s stands peddling jams, ciders, and freshly baked goods. I grew up upstate, so it’s not uncommon for me to reminisce of autumns past, while simultaneously scouring D.C. for the perfect cider doughnut (and, unfortunately, never finding one). It’s also this time of year that I dream of New York City—now through Christmas, actually—as the place to be for the season. January through much of August, I don’t quite feel the pull of New York, but, like clockwork, it finds me. That’s why Julie Lamb‘s pendant is so perfect right now—not to mention that coin and medallion pendants have been trending all summer. I’d wear it all these months and never take it off, its sleek style great for solo wear or in layers, if my other pendants started to get jealous. The designer’s signature lamb silhouettes are the cutest, most irresistible touch, setting this style apart from other Big Apple–inspired pieces; its glittering diamond halo is the loveliest touch of luxury. A beautiful token to remind its wearer of the magic of the city—if you can make it there.
