Brides Value Style, Grooms Value Substance

Working with a would-be groom to find the best engagement ring? Talk about the quality of its materials and construction.

Selling to a bride? Focus on the styling of a ring.

The Knot’s most recent Market Intelligence Report shows that “stone quality” ranked as the most important attribute for grooms when selecting an engagement ring, while brides said “style/setting” trumped all other attributes, including selling price, metal type, the cut and shape of stones, and stone size, which came in sixth for women and fifth for men.
