Brazilian Dreams: Feninjer Jewelry Show Takes Place This Week

The biannual jewelry event dubbed Feninjer, taking place Aug.
3–6 in São Paulo, is a delight for jewelry and caipirinha lovers alike,
and I will be fortunate enough to visit it once again. (In fact, I’m here
right now!)

I like the show not only because I’m a fan of the country,
but also because there’s not enough time during JCK Las Vegas—believe it or
not—to see and appreciate all of the Brazilians’ new work. Therefore, I’m
grateful for another opportunity to see these jewels firsthand, in São Paulo
no less.

The following bracelet is just a sample of the some of the
amazing and colorful new pieces I’ll see this week. Check in daily on this blog
to see more.

Bracelet in 18k white gold with Tahitian pearls, 65.90 cts.
t.w. of blue topaz, prasiolite, and colorless crystal quartz, and 1.31 cts. t.w.
diamonds; $70,000. Vianna
