Applications Being Accepted for IADC

A limited number of applications are now being accepted for the Indo Argyle Diamond Council‘s 2008 membership program.

“At this point, we are in the process of searching for a few Indian jewelry manufacturers that we feel will round out our group, making the IADC an even more valuable source for U.S. retailers,” Keith Dillmeier, IADC president, said. “We like to limit our vendor membership to just 20 or so select manufacturing companies because we want to ensure that we are delivering a very high level of service to our members.”

Since 1994, the IADC has acted as a facilitator between top Indian diamond jewelry manufacturers and U.S. jewelry retailers. IADC members benefit not only from the retail relationship building features of the program, but also from private jewelry shows in the U.S., educational workshops, U.S. retailer buying trips to India, and a variety of services offered only to the group.

“Our staff is dedicated to determining who the top Indian manufacturers are, learning their strengths, and matching them up to the U.S. retailers that are in need of their products and services,” Manny Reboredo, IADC program director, said.  “We feel that our job isn’t done unless the retailer and the manufacturer are both benefiting from the relationship.”

The application process for IADC membership will close at the end of the year.  For more information about IADC, go to http://www.indoargyle.com.
