AGTA Coyote Classic Golf Tournament to benefit Special Olympics

The American Gem Trade Association, Dallas, is holding its annual Coyote Classic golf tournament to benefit the Special Olympics on Tuesday, February 4, 2003 at the Dell Urich Golf Course in Tucson, Ariz.

AGTA has been dedicated to raising money for the Special Olympics for two decades. “We have been fortunate to have the support of our industry, members and the Tucson community during our annual Coyote Classic Golf Tournament,” says Douglas Hucker, executive director of the American Gem Trade Association. “We consider it an honor to support the Special Olympics with their goal to create positive and enduring change in the lives of individuals through sports training and competition.”

The Coyote Classic Tournament is open to anyone who would like to enjoy a day of golf and to help raise money for the Special Olympics. Golfers will be treated to a complimentary continental breakfast and buffet lunch. Breakfast and check-in begins at 8:00 a.m. and tee time is 9:00 a.m. with a shotgun start. Player’s fees are $150 per person, which includes a cart rental. Prizes will be awarded, including the opportunity to win $10,000 for a hole-in-one! Special guest golfer is former Dallas Cowboys superstar Ed “Too Tall” Jones.
