What We’re Shooting This Week: Fashion-Forward Gold Jewelry

JCK’s May issue is one of the fattest books of the year: With upward of 275 pages, it’s full of meaty features, news, and beautiful images of jewelry—including JCK’s original photography. Our team shoots still-life and model images, and since the theme of May is fashion, we aim to photograph lots of fashion-forward—not classic—precious jewelry. Some of the pieces we’re pulling include body jewelry, minimalist motifs, and more. Below is a sampling of some of the styles we’re scheduled to receive; stay tuned to find out what we actually get (that usually differs) and what we choose to photograph. And to any jewelry designers who wholesale their work to stores and who make karat gold or platinum body chains, please contact me today at JHeebner@jckonline.com for possible inclusion in the mix.
