Live From Baselworld: Staurino’s Sapphire & Gold Blue Moon Bracelet

The Blue Moon bracelet from Italian firm Staurino took weeks to make in 18k white gold and silver (“to make it lighter,” explained an associate during the Baselworld show). The piece features 191.61 cts. t.w. blue sapphires for a “strong futuristic look,” states the brand, and 1.98 cts. t.w. diamonds. The $116,500 one-of-a-kind piece commanded interest from buyers in Asia, the United States, and Russia, and at press time, had been spoken for by a store.

“It’s on the order list of a shop, but we’ll see if they confirm the shipment,” said a spokesperson.
