Basketbling: Diamond NBA Jewelry Debuts

Holler if you love a good basketball game! Some 4 million Americans attend one each month, according the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2011 Statistical Abstract. To that end, Gameplan Concepts, a division of Lamont Jewelry brands (including Mirabelle 18K and Elizabeth Taylor) recently unveiled a diamond-studded line of National Basketball Association jewelry for men and women, though JCK suspects the former will appreciate the styles more.

2011 All-Star 18k gold pendant with black and colorless diamonds; $9,900

Diamond and 18k gold pieces featuring NBA team and league logos are available starting at $1,500. Currently, the line is only available through Geary’s in Beverly Hills, though Gameplan aims to secure more retail accounts. Each piece is individually numbered, and limited-edition collector sets feature 30 team logos, the 2011 NBA All-Star logo, as well as the NBA Logo, and are priced from $95,000 to $495,000.
