This year’s Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra has been unveiled by Italian jeweler Damiani and the international lingerie brand. Crafted for Victoria’s Secret Angel Adriana Lima to wear (her second time modeling a Fantasy bra), the piece took six Damiani craftsmen 1,500 hours of full-time labor to complete.
Valued at $2 million, the Bombshell Fantasy Bra features more than 3,000 stones total, including 60 cts. t.w. brilliant cut colorless diamonds, and 82 cts. t.w. light blue sapphires and oval-shaped topazes, all set in 18 karat white gold. The Bombshell Fantasy Bra, designed exclusively for Victoria’s Secret by Damiani, aims to “evoke a heavenly display of swirling stars and constellations,” in the styling.
The bra will be featured in the 2010 Victoria’s Secret Christmas Dreams & Fantasies Catalogue (arriving in mailboxes October 20, according to the brand). Plus, Lima will model the bra on the runway at the 2010 Victoria’s Secret Fashion show that airs Tuesday, November 30 (10/9C) on CBS.
