Britt’s St. Patrick’s Day Pick: Stuller’s Tsavorite Clover Pendant

Stuller tsavorite clover pendant

I couldn’t have dreamed up a better jewel to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day than what we have before us: Stuller‘s standout silhouette of a lucky four-leaf clover. Tsavorite garnets provide the touch of green to keep you from getting pinched, and against a background of yellow gold, the look is divine. One need not be celebrating the holiday to appreciate this pendant, though: The shape, held on a dedicated chain, is thought to be a symbol of good luck—a notion we could all use a dash of once in a while. With its simple design, this pendant could easily join the ranks of favorite everyday pieces, paired with rows of other pendants and chains, lavishly layered. I think it’s important to understand the reasons St. Patrick’s Day is widely celebrated, largely signifying the arrival of Christianity and with quiet origins not at all like the raucous fests we see today, but for whatever reason revelers partake in this day (religion, Irish pride, um, green beer), there’s no denying that there really is a little Irish in all of us. I hope you enjoy your St. Paddy’s Day just the way you like it.

P.S. Last year’s blog post on Celtic jewelry.
