Sometime over the past couple of years, a soft shade of pink stole our hearts, and we haven’t looked back. You’ve no doubt seen the powdery hue in many places, from runways to retail stores, even in people’s hair. Donning what was once considered a color that makes one look as though drowned in Pepto Bismol is now considered the epitome of chic (apparently if, like me, you don’t have a soft pink jacket yet, you’re not scoring any style points). I digress: Color of the moment or no, I’m fiercely coveting these earrings from Italian jeweler Verdi, which just happen to feature the most beautiful pops of pink. I don’t know what’s better: the elegant—and unexpected—draped pink sapphire briolettes that run along one side of the teardrop shapes, the way the earrings magically appear to fade from rose gold to white, or the rose-cut diamonds peppered with pink that glitter along the surface. There is much to enjoy with this pair. Trend averse: Fear not. There’s no way these beauties will ever fall out of favor. They’re just too interesting, intriguing, and honestly, too luxurious not to keep us hooked. No matter the latest fad, the most beautiful jewelry is there to make it look even better (like these).
